Location: Remote / Flexible

Time Commitment:  Estimated 5-10 hours per month (Flexible, Project-Based)

About the People's Library:

The People’s Library is a decentralized, community-driven model designed to provide access to essential resources without financial barriers. Our goal is to create local, parallel economies that empower communities through cooperation, shared access, and sustainability.
Developers play a crucial role in building the digital infrastructure that empowers communities to manage shared resources with transparency and ease.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for coders and developers who want to put their technical skills to work building the digital infrastructure for a different kind of economy. The goal is to create a white-label, open-source platform that local People’s Libraries can use to manage shared assets, contributions, and participation. This tool will help communities organize themselves around access, not ownership—and you’ll help make that possible.
